Welcome to Wanderlust Farms! Nestled at the Medford stop of the Rock Island Trail, Wanderlust Farms is a unique destination where nature, creativity, and adventure come together. Our Summer Camp is at the heart of what we do, offering a hands-off, self-teaching approach that empowers kids to build confidence in both performance and life skills. Campers participate in all aspects of a show production—acting, set design, and behind-the-scenes work—while also exploring cooking, gardening, nature, and public speaking. There's nothing more rewarding than watching a shy child step onto the stage with confidence and grace!
Where the Wild Things Are – Musical Theatre & Nature Camp
Give your child the ultimate summer adventure at Where the Wild Things Are – Musical Theatre & Nature Camp, hosted at Wanderlust Farms! This isn’t just any theatre camp—it’s a magical blend of performing arts, outdoor exploration, and hands-on culinary experiences! From acting, singing, and dancing to cooking foods from around the world and gardening farm-to-table, your child will create, explore, and grow in a beautiful natural setting.

Dates: Session 1 is June 9 – June 13, 2025 & Session 2 is June 16 – June 20, 2025
Ages: 7–11
Location: Wanderlust Farms, Holden, MO
Cost: $1,200 per camper Transportation available for $200 (limited spots!)
Pick-Up Locations: Leawood and Lee’s Summit
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:00 AM and picked up by 6:00 PM
Production Activities: Begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM
